Keep Fit

Another one from the TPTV Melvyn Hayes 1930s selection. This time a fairly early George Formby.

Curiosity value only as it was far from funny, as there's only so many times you can hear him say "Oooh, Mother!", when he finds himself in a fix.

So, hapless George goes on a fitness regime (apparently the government at the time promoted healthy living), which culminates in a boxing match with love rival Guy Middleton (an early Leslie Phillips type actor).

The outcome is obvious, but I won't spoil it for you. 😆

No, I adore George Formby films and found this delightfully silly and funny.
