You beat me to it!! I never fail to watch "Bangers and Cash" on the Yesterday channel that comes every week from Matthewsons - brilliant programme, and some of the classic cars they get are mind boggling!!
This week they had a near mint 1980 ESCORT RS2000 with only 28K on the clock, that went for £60,000! But there's so many odd ball/one off vehicles as well, and you get a bit of history on them when you see them pick them up from the original owners.

Fascinating programme.

Just rewatched all series and it was a Roman burial site iirc, in other words the owners wealth was buried with them for reasons of status and superstition.

I reckon the sitcom connection could bump up the bidding for that car, if someone wants it as a showpiece rather than a car to drive. Even without it it looks in very good nick. But beware the noise it made in the show, if that was the actual engine noise, but I doubt it'll be bought to be driven much, if there are collectors there.

I'm now convinced that Lance is retarded or certainly has some arrested development!
