Nicholas Parsons

90 years old
47 years doing "Just A Minute" and is still going

Just a wee nod to the lovely man. Brilliant.

Good on him.

I'm sure at that age he doesn't climb trees.

I'll nod at him

Lets not forget his memorable performance in Mr Jolly lives next door

I Met Nicholas Parsons at london memorabilla event in 2013. Happy 90th Birthday Mr Parsons.

I met him at a do for the Wireless Theatre Company a few years ago.

I think it was their first anniversary and they're still going strong.

I'm from a generation who barely knows who he is. I remember him in Doctor Who though and he played a decent vicar in it. Decent by 1980s BBC standards.

You mean you've never seen Sale of the Century???

He was in the Benny Hill show quite a bit too

"Live from Norwich."

That's very odd, I was only just thinking about him playing the narrator of the touring version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He seems a bit of a comedy legend to me.

On the flip side of the coin there's a rant about him on the IMDB message boards. Apparently he was a bit of a diva during a book signing session.

And straight man to one of Britain's greatest comics . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pb2hkKGzaZ8

All before my time, my friend. My old, aged friend.

I've seen him wearing ladies underwear. Him and me. He had the audience in the palm of him hand.

But Ben. He's on Just A Minute all the time. Been there since it started.

When Humphrey died they replaced him on isihac

I wonder if/who would replace Nicholas once he leaves this mortal coil

I think Bruce Willis is free.
