From the horses mouth... Page 2

But I do sell, Marc. The problem here is that you are suggesting I need to be taught. No, I need to learn, but I need to chose my own teachers.

You sell sitcoms?

on the seashore!

Any news of a second series of Krod Mandoon?

hopefully in the same unmarked grave as the lamentable Clone, Horne and Cordens skit show and other rot.

Oi! I loved Krod.

I liked Matt Lucas in it, other than that the mock high fantasy epic is a bit of a cliche and this wasn't a good version.

All though with GOT maybe it's time has come around again?

Coincidence you think Game of Thrones came out two years later... I think not!

An ensemble or one protagonist?

An ensemble is fine - but you need a very definite lead.
Dibley is a good example - they would KILL for another one of those.
Lot's of broad comedic characters - but with Dawn French very much to the fore.
And, more importantly, it's her situation that drives the narrative.
In other words, the 'situation' should not be confused with the location.

And, Paul, I'm not saying this is right or wrong - or the only way to go.
It's just what they're looking for right now.

And no more Blandings or Episodes from the sound of things.

Yeah yeah yeah. But what about Krod?

Yeah yeah yeah. But what about Krod?

It didn't come up.

Apparently it couldn't match the high standards set by Doctors

Not even the golden rose nominated one or Bafta?

Well both Miranda and Mrs Brown are current big hits for BBC1, so it makes sense they want more of that sort of thing. Big main character.

I found à bafta in a pack et of cornflakes

Aldi cornflakes

I don't shop at Aldi!

Then maybe youd have à bafta
