My name is Jack Squires and I'm trying to make it as a stand up comedian. I'm 19 years old and have done a couple gigs, including one for the BBC, and I thought it would be a good idea to join this forum and just thought I would introduce myself!

Just out of interest if I wanted to post some YouTube videos of my performances in order to see what people think of them should I do that in the 'Showcase' or in the 'Critique' forum?

It could be either Jack depending on the level of feedback you require. Showcase tends to be for more polished performances in the main.

Critique is geared toward work you actively want to improve with constructive criticism and feedback from others. Showcase is more of simply showing off your finished work and hearing what others think of it.
