Does anyone still have any Bovril in their Larder?

Yes I know it's worth it's own thread, but the question is staying here

'Ay! Carrot! They got no cowin' Bovril!'

I used to live in Burton on Trent where they make said Marmite. Monday morning the smell was awful, boiling down the pig bones to go in it I think.

:S It's yeast extract, as I'm sure you know.

And it's yummy.

Sick Oh, dear God.

And I actually quite like Marmite.

I thought the same but I tried it and liked it.

It just tastes like Marmite with cheese but warm.

Booyah!

Asda have some bread slice sized cheese slices in various flavours, chive, tomato sauce etc which you just place on a piece of toasted and buttered bread and cook under the grill.

Might try one at the weekend.

Opened the jar and sniffed it. Not sure.

Bloody hell !!!

It's to smear all over your body and let Mr Shandonbelle/the dog/next doors cat lick it off.

That's what whipped cream is for Roscoff ;) >_<

The women in my house are watching a bunch of twats write the names of two people on a board. Thrilling.
