I will regret this, but putting things in is worse than taking them out, surely!?

How do you think they get the blood in order to test it?

I don't know actually...

I think having blood taken out is grosser than having something put in. Even if it is a little bit of malaria. :)

I can't use the >_< face anymore, so Unimpressed.

Yeah, you're not amused at him having jizzed in your hair.

Yes, they take the blood out; and to me that's not so bad as having something put into your blood-stream.

Aaron! Unimpressed

Ah, well that's probably why then!

I've only had needles in my poor innocent arm about 4 times.

Aww!

Ah, so it's the psychology of it rather than the physical feeling or appearance? I really don't mind either!

And they fill the numerous vials with your red stuff.

That, and today's was particularly bad because you could almost *feel* what they'd put in. *shudder*

LIKE A SLUG BEING INJECTED INTO YOUR VEINS?

I didn't actually think you could get worse...

Glad to have helped.

:( Ah huh...

And congealed, lumpy milk. Mwhaha.

Sick

Looks like Hurricane Ike will pass to the east of me, so I'll only have to worry about some rain and 50 MPH winds on Saturday.

Check out the blunt warning for Houston-area residents from the National Weather Service:

ALL NEIGHBORHOODS...AND POSSIBLY ENTIRE COASTAL COMMUNITIES...
WILL BE INUNDATED DURING HIGH TIDE. PERSONS NOT HEEDING
EVACUATION ORDERS IN SINGLE FAMILY ONE OR TWO STORY HOMES WILL
FACE CERTAIN DEATH.
MANY RESIDENCES OF AVERAGE CONSTRUCTION
DIRECTLY ON THE COAST WILL BE DESTROYED. WIDESPREAD AND
DEVASTATING PERSONAL PROPERTY DAMAGE IS LIKELY ELSEWHERE. VEHICLES
LEFT BEHIND WILL LIKELY BE SWEPT AWAY. NUMEROUS ROADS WILL BE
SWAMPED...SOME MAY BE WASHED AWAY BY THE WATER. ENTIRE FLOOD PRONE
COASTAL COMMUNITIES WILL BE CUT OFF. WATER LEVELS MAY EXCEED 9 FEET
FOR MORE THAN A MILE INLAND. COASTAL RESIDENTS IN MULTI-STORY

BATTERING WAVES. SUCH WAVES WILL EXACERBATE PROPERTY DAMAGE...WITH
MASSIVE DESTRUCTION OF HOMES...INCLUDING THOSE OF BLOCK

:O

You'd have to be a moron to ignore a warning about CERTAIN DEATH. But I'm sure a few morons will be willing to risk their lives.

My city is starting to fill up with evacuees. I've seen trucks in several hotel parking lots with 5-gallon cans of gasoline lashed to their luggage racks. Guess they were worried about being stranded.
