Got nothing but total respect for Bob Monkhouse. To pull out so many jokes from the 'air' and to get the right one for the right moment, stunning, even if a good proportion were written for him or old standards.

I suppose it's not always the creating the gags, but having a computer memory and being able to immediately remember something appropriate.
