Yes, a very good cause and with high profile support. I hope the operation is successful for her and that it makes her happy. Funnily enough, a girlfriend had similar eyes to hers at 19.

She is inevitably on an interesting life journey. Hopefully that is one of heightened wisdom. As for those less fortunate, it is worth bearing in mind that someone like Winston Sparkes was adored.

I love it. Quite apart from the social history, I am crazy about the look of film from that era.

It predates my memory but something has happened to colour. That stuff is definitely for real!

3 Little Birds - Bob Marley http://youtu.be/6aGlcUK_GkM

Thanks people, That's my favourite Bob Marley song of many and the Morrissey one was noteworthy too.

Old......no!....and a nice choice.

I'm ending my week with Paddy McAloon, who I revere, and I Trawl The MegaHertz.

The album was written following the detachment of both retinas in quick succession, possibly due to congenital factors, which left him temporarily blind. It features dialogue from the radio.

The voice is that of an American commodities broker, Yvonne Connors, who recorded her contribution between 6.15pm and 8.45pm in room 551 of The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, on October 25, 1999.
