Christy Moore

To name but a few.

Legend, the Unfinished Revolution album, one of the best albums of all time in my opinion.
My favourite bands are: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Genesis, The Smiths, The Jam and The Jackson Five to name only a few.

Five Star

And them. Twice :$

I saw Mark Bolan, had a chat with him, smoked a fag and even had a deeply passionate snog.

It was me who found his crashed mini.

You had that around the wrong way.

eh?

In no particular order -
Arcade Fire
Elbow
The Cure
Guillemots
We Are Scientists
David Bowie
Art Brut
Los Campesinos!
Vampire Weekend
Radiohead
Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst
Franz Ferdinand

I'm sure I will think of many more though.

I knew the drummer from Carter USM. He's slept on my floor and I cooked him beans.

Adam and the Ants were great. Their early stuff in particular and Adam was gorgeous of course.

Didn't Carter USM split up because an obsessed fan kidnapped the drummer?

Too many to mention, but these two stand head and shoulders above the rest.

eh?

I was implying you'd snogged a dead man. :)

Ah, but I wasn't a fan. He was playing a friend's band at the time and left them for Carter.

No it was the lead singer of TRex not just any dead man.

It was a twist expectation punchline.

Note you don't deny kidnapping and possibly cooking him. You didn't do Richie Manic in as well perchance?

We had the same leopard print coat. I'm saying no more...

(Glen Miller's banging on the cellar door again)

Good stuff.

Watching that second clip, just makes me remember just how good Keith Moon was, as a drummer and a personality. Not many bands where you want to see much of the drummer.

I work in "the biz" - my music tastes are far to varied to have favourites nowadays... very sad.
