Oh dear!

Did you only just realise that you are producing this, Dave?

At least one of your cast has the surname 'Bibby'. Comedy gold!. Just have him talk about himself in the 3rd person for an hour. I'd pay to watch it.

All the best with it, mate. :)

If anyone wants tickets I think they're on sale now. The Rose Theatre, Kingston, Sunday 2nd August.

So less than two weeks to go and still looking at the newspapers - OK the Sun - daily for inspiration.

It's on at the Rose Theatre, Kingston on 2nd August. Tickets are £7. Dare you to come.

Well Show number 1 was last night and generally it went down well. We had about 60 paying customers and lots of laughs.

The acting team was really good and being one of three writers I had about 5 sketches.

Hopefully there will be more. Maybe early August was not good for a launch but generally we were quite pleased.

Time to start scouring the news for the next show.

Nice one, Dave. Sounds really good. Hopefully word-of-mouth will mean even more in the audience next time (though 60 is a pretty darn good start for an unknown show). :)

Thanks Tim. We may You Tube some of it.

Congratulations on your first! Sounds like it went well and that's a good turnout. :D

We're really proud of our achievements.

Some great characters among the actors. 4 girls, 2 boys. Destined for stardom.

In case anyone wondered it was basically a review of the month's news.

Good turn-out, Chappers! Nice one.

I'll try get to the next one, if poss. (Sorry -- couldn't make the inaugural one, unfortunately!)

Dan

We're still awaiting the theatre's decision on when the next one can be staged.

Thanks. Maybe I'll send my rejects to Newsrevue.

Well done Chappers. :)

Next one planned although a different venue.

1 November at the Canbury Arms, Kingston.

Yes - I know I keep on about it. But it's next Sunday.

Tickets are running out fast - well strolling actually - but it should be good.
