The X-Factor perform 'Killing in the Name Of'

It's so brilliant that they're doing this! I didn't know about it till I read some of the comments on this vid to see what it was all about.
"F**k you won't do what you tell me" will be ace belting out the old folk's homes on Christmas day!

Looks like it's been pulled:

"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by British Phonographic Industry Ltd."

But this one works:

Honestly thought that said Pornographic when I clicked the link. :$

I've just "voted" for RATM by buying the single on Amazon -- only 29p!

You should all do this too :)

I got it from Play.com. For a little more, but I had other stuff to buy, so... Damn, 29p... *grumbles*

Still, all in a good cause. :)

I'm sure someone said Amazon doesn't count towards the charts.

A quick Google may shed some light. Apparently, the official chart compilers only count songs sold for 40p or more, but that's the wholesale price. Amazon appears to be selling at a loss.

In any event, somebody apparently "official" at Amazon has confirmed that downloads of both the X-Factor single and RATM will count toward the charts. Both are sold for 29p.

Ah - well my source was the comments on the YouTube vid anyway, so I should really have known better! But...Amazon selling at a loss?? Whyyyy?

Same reason as Tesco etc sell baked beans as a "loss leader" - brings in the custom for the more expensive things. After all, other than me, who else is going to go on there and only spend 29p on their credit card?

O/

OK, hands up those that aren't Jews. :P

I don't even care enough to spend 29p. Let X-Factor have their Christmas No. 1. Unimpressed

*shakes fist*

You would understand if the comedy industry was in the same state! A lot of good talent being overlooked in favour of some pretty kareoke singers who've done absolutely nothing to further themselves except go on a talent show once.

Besides, that song as a Crimbo number 1 would be hilarious!
