We Are Klang -- The Radio Series

Start a new thread as it's technically a different show to the TV show. More of a spoof biography series than the Klangbury-based council thing.

We Are Klang, the radio series, is being repeated on BBC Radio 7, Sundays 11pm, at present. First episode available on catch-up here till this Sunday night: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007k3b7

I've only listened to the first two, when they were originally broadcast. It didn't do much for me at the time to be honest, but I might give it another listen now I actually know who they are and quite enjoyed the recording of the last (TV) episode when I went along.

We Are Klang (or Amazing Lives) is a whole different animal to the TV series and it's a lot of fun. I bought the audio book last year which has four of the episodes on and they're really nicely done spoofs. Episode three about the explorers is my favourite one which talks about being chased up Everest by Brian Blessed and Judy Finnegan!

If you're not a fan of Klang on BBC Three, don't be deterred by this because - like I said - it's in no way like their TV show.

Cheers, I'm enjoying it. :)

I prefer the TV show

I think I prefer the radio series. This episode (on iPlayer until Sunday 16th) made me laugh a lot. Lovely and absurd (e.g. Brian Blessed chasing them up a mountain)
