Olympics Trickery

Hu Jintao, the President of China, is being briefed on the Olympics by an advisor.

Advisor:
Mr President sir, the West have learnt about our opening ceremony trickery.

Hu:
It wasn't trickery, it was in the interests of our wonderful country.

Advisor:
Yes, but sir the general consensus is that getting a better looking girl to mime was a step too far. I fear it is damaging to our reputation.

Hu:
Not at all, we want the world to see what beautiful children we have.

Advisor:
Mr President, the west are also upset that the fireworks were in fact CGI.

Hu:
And do you know what CGI stands for?

Advisor:
Computer....

Hu:
No, In China's Greatest Interest! Send a press release, it was a misquote.

Advisor:
Yes Mr President, however it will get more difficult to follow up these stories as the Olympics progress.

Hu:
It is all in our country's interest!

Advisor:
What about the chocolate medals?

Hu:
That's a surprise!

I know the ending is rather weak, any ideas?

Hmm to long and to much explanation, it's also too linear.

e.g. 2 lies and then a slightly bigger one.

It's also not very distinctive.

Sorry.

I thought this was alright actually. Topical stuff is always rough and ready and it made me laugh.

I liked this. It made me smile.
