BREXIT Page 24

The ones who forecast DOOM are still vocal everywhere.
The ones who know it will be alright - not so much.

I heard someone on the Radio yesterday spreading this crap.

He said prices WILL rise by 10-15%.

NOBODY KNOWS!

NOBODY KNOWS!
Quite.Including the Brexiteers.

But we're not the ones spouting it.
The leftie media never shut up about it and you gobble it all up.

Personally I only ever hear about it on this Comedy forum which is probably the right place for it.

What's needed is someone to counter these doom-mongers with the actual tangible benefits of Brexit.
That would soon shut them up.
(A word of caution, best avoid phrases like 'take back control', 'we've got our country back' & ' Fish!' as these have proven to be less than convincing so far.)
Just limit yourself to two or three of the actual benefits that you yourself will gain, that makes this all worthwhile.

Actually, thinking about it further, what's REALLY need is another big red bus with "It's not going to be as shit as you think it is" plastered on the side .
You know, something to rally the troops around, raise the spirits and all that.
Just a suggestion.

Mahjong or curling?

Whoops, sorry, wrong thread.

We've been down this route before, remainers have vowed to reject any benefits proffered by leavers, it's a fruitless exercise, If we posted proof of JCB signing a contract to lay down gold pavements with its diggers you'd reject it. Remainers prioritise different values to leavers and vice versa, it's as simple as that.

Why is there not a like button?
Anyway Alfred ? (tick)

The tick symbol does not work on here

Proof of anything would do.

There can't be any proof either way until it's completed.

After January the first will we see the end of Cif and Snickers?
