I'm a member of Edge of London Writers, formerly in Carshalton, Surrey but moved on to Kingston.

We've put on a couple of topical sketch shows in the latter half of 2009 and also had some short plays performed in Carshalton in 2008.

In the past I wrote loads of songs with a musician friend. Nothing published although we completed a musical called "Porcupine" but to date has not been performed. Anyone want to stage it?

I love Green Wing, League of Gentlemen, Royle Family from recent times (doesn't mean my stuff is anything like this though) and Likely Lads, Reginald Perrin amonst many others from the past. My favourite author is Leslie Thomas (Virgin Soldiers, Dangerous Davies, Tropic of Ruislip etc) and Alasdair Gray.

I have completed two script frenzies and one NaNoWriMo plus have written a sitcom. Subject is a pair of middle-aged failed songwriters - they say write what you know. Currently thinking of other markets for it.

Also worked on several ideas for sitcoms/comedy dramas with various people ad been involved on "Meet the Newmans".

Looking for someone "funny" to write with. Is it you?????
