Created and written by Dan Renton Skinner and Rufus Jones, this sketch show pilot is set around a film magazine programme, with various parody sketches intercut.
The movie magazine programme twists interviews of film stars, and fake reverses film features, mixed in with comedy sketches. Using the best TV special effects and taking inspiration from the E! Channel, MovieMash features interviews with A-list stars such as Steven Seagal, Nic Cage, Andie MacDowell and Keanu Reeves to create the finest comedy chaos.
Our Review: MovieMash took old interview clips with movie stars and replaced the real interviewers with actors posing different questions, thus making the Hollywood actors look a bit stupid. It was a fun enough premise, but we doubt the gimmick could last a full series.
