Last Of The Summer Wine - Christmas Specials

Christmas in Holmfirth is always full of festive fun, as these cracking Christmas Specials show.

Here we see Compo feeling a little frosty, having trouble scraping enough together to buy his beloved Nora the perfect present - could Auntie Wainwright have the answer? Howard has a problem too: he's got a present to give to Pearl, and keep from Marina, all at the same time.

But the lack of wise men is more than made up for with a surplus of Santas. There's one on the rooftops, four on the doorstep, and one very sozzled one, enjoying a silent night locked in a pub. That's what you call a very merry Holmfirth Christmas!

All available in previous series releases, the following episodes are included:

Christmas Special 1986 - Merry Christmas Father Christmas
Christmas Special 1988 - Crums
Christmas Special 1989 - What's Santa Bought for Nora Then?
Christmas Special 1990 - Barry's Christmas

First released: Monday 3rd November 2014

Not in the UK?

Fear not! Many items can still be ordered. Amazon in the UK delivers to many international territories, whilst their Australia, USA and Canada stores also supply many equivalent or imported items.

If you are in the North America, look out for US/Canadian flag icons on popular product listings for direct links.

If you order from a UK store, please note that the UK is in Region 2 and B, respectively, for DVDs and Blu-rays - check your player's compatibility, or look for multi-region products if you are located in another region.

If you are in Australia or New Zealand (DVD Region 4), note that almost all DVDs distributed in the UK by the BBC and 2entertain are encoded for both Region 2 and Region 4. The UK and Australasia are in the same Blu-ray region (B).
