Lord Bleasham (pronounced Blessem) has hit upon hard times and can ill afford to employ anybody else at his country seat, Bleasham Hall. But, when a strangely dressed young man called Barnaby Locke enters his life, he is offered original ways of making money in order to let his Cambridge educated daughter claim her inheritance on her approaching 18th birthday.

Our Review: A company not normally renowned for sitcoms produced a worthy effort, albeit helped by a good professional cast.

It must have seemed like typecasting for Seretta Wilson who played Sgt Wilson's daughter in a Dad's Army episode, Getting The Bird, the same year.
