Have you seen Cronos and Devil's Backbone, Nat? They're great films too.

No, but I have now put them on my 'to watch' list. You're generally right on these type of things.

I can't argue with you!

Mimic isn't too bad either. As a fan of the comics, I can't really get too onboard with his Hellboy films.

I love the Hellboy films, but that's probably because I haven't read the comics yet.

It turns out that I haven't seen as much Del Toro as I thought I had.

Yeah, I like Mimic a lot, but it seems to get quite sniffy reviews.

They're probably great fun if you haven't read the comics, but his take completely loses the sadness and creeping horror of the source material (Which is surprising, considering some of his other work), and really ups the comedy. I mean, they're good films in their own right, but they ain't what Hellboy should and could be!

He also did Blade 2, which is fun.

Give it another go. It starts kicking off about 30 minutes.

That's a quarter of the way through! f**king ell.

Weirdly, Transporter 3 is balls too.

Looks like Kevin Smith's next film is going to be a bit unexpected:

Doesn't look like his usual bag. Did he write or just direct?

Wrote and directed it.
