I think it's a good idea but with benefits in this country it would need to be a lot more money

Glad they finally caught this little Orange County prick. I hope the CIA have their way with him.

KARACHI, Pakistan - Pakistani intelligence agents have arrested Adam Gadahn, the American-born spokesman for al-Qaida, in an operation in the southern city of Karachi, two officers and a government official said Sunday.

The arrest of Gadahn is a major victory in the U.S.-led battle against al-Qaida and will be taken as a sign that Pakistan is cooperating more fully with Washington. It follows the recent detentions of several Afghan Taliban commanders in Karachi.

Gadahn was arrested in the sprawling southern metropolis in recent days, two officers who took part in the operation said. A senior government official also confirmed the arrest.

They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information.

Gadahn, who is also known by various aliases, including Yahya Majadin Adams and Azzam al-Amriki, grew up on a goat farm in Riverside County, California, and converted to Islam at a mosque in nearby Orange County.

Gadahn moved to Pakistan in 1998, according to the FBI, and is said to have attended an al-Qaida training camp six years later, serving as a translator and consultant for the group. He has been wanted by the FBI since 2004, and there is a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest or conviction.

He has posted videos and messages calling for the destruction of the West and for strikes against targets in the United States. The most recent was posted Sunday, praising the U.S. Army major charged with killing 13 people in Fort Hood, Texas.

A U.S. court charged Gadahn with treason in 2006, making him the first American to face such a charge in more than 50 years. He could face the death penalty if convicted. He was also charged with two counts of providing material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

Poor fella the Pakistani Intelligence service are going to shove a broom up his anus and stamp on his junk.

Knowing his luck they'll stick the broom bristle end first.

Mr. Hitchens the younger has a new book about how he lost, and re-found, his faith.

I have a lot of respect for Christopher Hitchens except when he forays into the arena of religion. I will be very interested to read the younger Hitchens' thoughts. He seems to have a very prosaic and fluid writing style.

Apparently messrs Peter and Christopher have an even more turbulent relationship than the Gallaghers. I much prefer Christopher.

This sounds like a surreal comedy headline, but unfortunately it's true...

"Stirling Moss Falls Down Lift Shaft."

Fortunately he's only broken both his ankles.

:D
I want a house so big I need a lift.

Too spooky. You'd always be thinking killers were in the house with you and end up baricaded in a bathroom with a rolling pin as a weapon.

Just found this on stumble

Wow. :O

I almost want to see that. To be honest, I'm very much on the lion's side. I hope he's okay and they didn't do anything stupid to him afterwards.

Didn't Ricky, Stephen and Karl talk about something just like that a couple of years ago on a podcast?

Possibly, never listened to one so I'll take your word for it. I almost want to see it too. Might end up wishing I hadn't though.

Ah, the piece is from 2005, so they probably did, yes.

Ooh... http://lionvs40midgets.uk-directory.com/

Surely the best story of the year. Oh, just noticed it's from last year. Oh well. Still funny.
