I read the news today oh boy!

A thread for discussing what's happening in the news, we don't seem to have a specific one. And not just a sneaky way of cribbing ideas for NR/TS.

Bloody hell! They drugged and tethered her to get money from the McCannes.

Is this evil or just numbingly pathetic?

That story's all become a bit of a farce really.

Funny though......

At least they tried to do something out of the ordinary to get money. And in the long run the kids probably better off now.

Yes she seems to have taken every oportunity to cooperate with social services to avoid going home.

I believe when she was first taken into care, she said she didn't want to go as the social worker had bought her a cat.

That is what farces generally are, yes.

All in all this is just yet more evidence of an underclass with no morality and ultimately no point. Time for a pogrom, me thinks.

Didn't we all assume that's what had happened anyway? I can't remember now...

So many child kidnap stories, so little time.

The upper classes are rich enough to stay above the radar.

Plenty of kids die in mysterious circumstances, which get written off

as cot death, accidents etc.

Another bizarre story.

Yeah, but the working class make life miserable for everybody with their badly behaved children hanging around on street corners and stabbing innocent citizens.

Royal navy doing what it should do.

Hope they make the survivors walk the plank.

Gem of a story nu?

The armed forces should just be out killing people. That's what they're there for.

I'd rather there weren't any survivors at all - one shot, one kill.

You know any Somali pirates getting taken alive are automatically offered asylum in the UK.
