When Lucky Flynn (Tim Minchin) learns that his estranged mother is dying, he embarks on a road trip across Australia to see her, packing nothing but an upright piano for the journey. In a dramatic twist of fate, his plans are soon turned upside down when his path collides with runaway teenager Meg (Milly Alcock), who has some demons of her own.
This odd couple return in Series 2, this time swapping the desert for the steamy tropics of Far North Queensland, as they hit the road and the river in search of Meg's long-estranged Mum.
