Probably the least fondly remembered of Leonard Rossiter's work, Tripper's Day sees him playing Norman Tripper, manager of a small supermarket and constantly plagued by his staff.
Following Rossiter's death the programme became Slinger's Day with the manager role taken on by Bruce Forsyth; it ran for another 12 episodes in this guise.
This release includes the 6 episodes from Rossiter's series.
