Leonard Rossiter was an English actor who enjoyed a long and distinguished career on stage and screen, becoming best known for starring in sitcoms The Fall And Rise Of Reginald Perrin and Rising Damp. Born in Liverpool, he died suddenly whilst waiting to go on stage at the Lyric Theatre in London's West End.
