Apart from being well past her sell-by date (we even had jokes about Thatcher and Rubik's cubes), Jo Brand's endless attacks on "the posh" don't ring true, because you don't need to be a linguist to realise that she was born on the right side of the tracks, a good middle-class girl who trained as a psychiatric nurse, then acquired some clip-on glottal stops and a Mockney accent.
