In Sickness & In Health - Series Five

Alf Garnet returns as the grumpiest pensioner in Thatcherite Britain. As insulting and absurdly prejudiced as ever, Warren Mitchell stars as the pig-headed bigot we all love to hate.

Wedding bells are in the air and Mrs Hollingbery thinks it's time she got a job to help save for the big day but Alf is not pleased. In fact life itself is losing its appeal as he's been banned from smoking and drinking. Things even reach such a low that Alf decides to get a job. But when he becomes a window cleaner, he discovers more than he had bargained for!

This series also sees Alf unable to get on the bus because he's forgotten his pass, so in retaliation he then arranges a day out for a group of OAPs who, armed with their passes, commandeer a bus...

With Jury service for Alf, a power cut and the stag night drawing closer, this series continues to share the life of Alf Garnett and Mrs Hollingbery still struggling against the Welfare State.

This release includes all 10 episodes from the fifth series of the much-loved Till Death Us Do Part successor.
