Neighbours star Alan Dale joins Wreck Series 2
BBC Three comedy thriller Wreck is due to return to screens this spring, with new cast members joining the show as the action is transported to a wellness festival.
Alan Dale - who played Jim Robinson in Neighbours across the 1980s and 1990s - has joined the cast as a character called Charles Deveraux. Also new to the cast list this series will be Phil Martin, Orlando Norman, Shaheen Jafargholi, Sam Buttery, Greg Austin, Carolyn Bracken, Niamh Walsh, Buck Braithwaite and Bradley Riches.
Talking about the six new 45 minute episodes, the BBC explains: "Created and written by Ryan J Brown, Wreck Series 2 is set in the months after the events of Series 1's shocking blood-soaked conclusion. We re-join Jamie, Vivian and their found family of survivors back on land, as they strike back against Velorum, the corporate murder machine that claimed Jamie's sister. In a daring and desperate attempt to bring the company down, the gang go undercover to infiltrate Velorum's newest venture - an exclusive 'wellness' festival for millionaires in the remote Slovenian countryside. Relationships fray, blood pours, and not everyone will be making it out alive. It's going to be a cleansing experience..."
Returning for the second series are Oscar Kennedy as Jamie, Jodie Tyack as Pippa and Thaddea Graham as Vivian.
Also surviving from the first series are actors Anthony Rickman, Amber Grappy, Peter Claffey, Miya Ocego, Warren James Dunning, Alice Nokes, James Phoon, Ali Hardiman, Rory O'Neill and Harriet Webb.
Series 1 is still available on BBC iPlayer
