Fishbowl is a warm hearted comedy about the suffocating joy of hanging out with your parents in a lovely little town where escape is impossible and there's usually chips for tea.

After one term of university Hattie's lost all her money to an online casino, got a drug debt to a dealer who won't take 'no' for an answer and dabbled in lesbianism with a lovely girl called Sophie. So naturally parents Phil and Ramona decide it's probably best to bring her home to Wetherby for a little while. Let her get her head back together.

Despite Ramona confiscating her keys, phone and shoes and despite Phil's unmistakable delight at having his only daughter and best friend back home, Hattie's determined to escape. And if that means grand theft auto, lying her arse off and throwing her lot in with carrion hoarding, TV licence evading friend of the family 'Uncle' Les then that's what she's going to do.
