Created by Steve Coogan and Henry Normal, Brain Candy re-invents stand-up comedy on television - this is the first programme to feature 42 comics with 42 different backdrops.

Each 15-minute show has a specific theme and the comedians perform straight to camera on location in and around London.

Fatboy Slim provides the soundtrack while animator Tim Searle, fresh from creating George Michael's latest controversial video, provides the graphic animations.
