Initially airing weekly, Workers' Playtime was a morale-boosting variety series that proved so popular it moved to a thrice-weekly broadcast pattern after 5 months.

Occasionally, editions of similar variety format Works Wonders and other music-orientated programmes including Music While You Work were repeated under the Workers' Playtime title. These have not been included in this guide.
