Richard Gadd, winner of the 2016 Edinburgh Comedy Award, makes his debut on BBC Radio 4. A calamitous live event is kept on track with Gadd's frenetic energy.

Richard and his long-suffering-but-loyal producer Ben are recording their first Radio 4 show in front of a live audience. Delayed guests, technical problems and personal issues do nothing to help Gadd cope with the difficult subject of the show.
