1. Episode One

Ian and Chloe are new parents to their much loved but incessantly crying baby, Don. Meanwhile sister Jane has had enough of husband Pete, while Ken and Margaret are simply trying to turn the television on.

First broadcast: Friday 24th July 2020

Jane leaves husband Pete and goes to stay with her parents - throwing Ken and Margaret's weekly milk order into chaos. Pete struggles to hold the fort at home, but fails to notice 17-year-old Holly going off to join Extinction Rebellion. Ian and Chloe struggle to get baby Don to stop crying.

Ian takes Chloe and baby Don away, hoping a relaxing weekend at a spa hotel will help. Meanwhile, Holly is arrested at Extinction Rebellion, while 16 year old brother Nick is struggling to keep her whereabouts secret from their parents.

A tale of two hotels. Ian and Chloe's relaxing weekend proves to be anything but, with Chloe taking Don home alone. Meanwhile, Jane treats Ken and Margaret to a slap up cream tea with a little too much prosecco.

Ian has now taken refuge at Ken and Margaret's, as well as sister Jane. Unexpectedly reunited, without partners or offspring, the family of four go down memory lane - good and bad. Then Pete appears on the doorstep with urgent news about Holly.

First broadcast: Friday 21st August 2020

Holly and Jane are both back at home, as Pete and Jane try to work things out. Ian and Chloe have made it up, Ken and Margaret are relieved to have their house back. So celebrations for Holly's 18th birthday look set to go swimmingly- until the vegan cake debacle. Even a brief appearance by Richard Osman can't lighten the mood.
