Acropolis Now trivia

There are some historical inaccuracies in Acropolis Now.

* Aristophanes and Heraclitus are not related.

* Aristophanes and Heraclitus' mother was not the Oracle of Delphi.

* Heraclitus died in 475 B.C. and died before most of the other characters were born. Socrates was born in c. 469 B.C., Aristophanes in c. 446 B.C. and Plato between 428-427 B.C.. Heraclitus has been dead for 67 years by the time the series begins.

There is also an Australian sitcom called Acropolis Now, but this is set in a modern-day cafe.
