Laying out a script can be confusing.

We've seen scripts from new writers that wrapped the dialogue in speech marks. We've seen scripts that communicated the change of location in the stage directions, rather than dividing the material up into scenes.

Most writers know, however, that a television script should be split into scenes.

What can be more confusing is how to properly set out scene headings. What information should each scene heading contain?

Well there's INT. and EXT. of course: meaning "interior" and "exterior". Then there is the location itself. 
So, for example:

INT. CHURCH
