Petfringe Comedian Of The Year review

The contest may not have specifically been looking for 'promise', but they found it anyway, in a comic just three years into his career. A mix of old-timers and relative rookies makes the Petfringe competition like few others. And with the anonymous donor pledging to maintain the mega-prize until 2020, it's likely to be hard fought for a couple more years at least.

Seven questions with... Luke Toulson

October's Comedian Of The Month, Luke Toulson, is an immediately likeable stand up comedian, with his relaxed and casual delivery enabling him to secure an immediate audience connection. Comedian of the month #21: Luke Toulson

If there was ever a man who could make stand up comedy look easy, effortless even, then Luke Toulson is that man. Luke Toulson on 'Grandpa, Hitler and Me'

I loved my grandparents and I was fortunate to spend a lot of time with them when I was growing up. They were wonderful company and we talked about all sorts of things, but to my great regret we never discussed their experiences during the Second World War. In my defence, I was up to my neck in potato painting and running around their garden.
