The playwright and director Josie Rourke talk about Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons, which explores a world where language is rationed.

Is Catherine Tate's new film missing a director credit?

If you want to review the film, you have to buy a ticket after the movie is released, like anyone else. This is, traditionally, not considered an optimistic omen. Bleeding Cool has also noted the accompanying poster is missing a very important credit, that of the movie's director, Josie Rourke. Credited as the director of The Nan Movie in all previous publicity, Rourke has not posted anything on her social media regarding the film.

The Nan Movie review

Brutally unfunny outing for Catherine Tate's sweary old lady.

Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian, 18th March 2022

The Nan Movie review

Catherine Tate's 'comedy' is as interminable as it is revolting.

Robbie Collin, The Telegraph, 18th March 2022

The Nan Movie review

The Nan Movie is a terrible film with a much better film hiding inside it. And Catherine Tate should have made that film instead.

The Nan Movie review

It is not an easy film to be bothered about.

Tom Beasley, Film Stories, 18th March 2022

The Nan Movie review: 3/10

I was anticipating a possible car crash. Why is there no director credited for the movie? And what did I get? I got two very different films. One utterly excellent, the other a terrible atrocity for the eyes and ears.
