Jai Worsman was born, raised, and lives in Manchester and was always told he's funny so he tried stand-up comedy at the Frog and Bucket, where he was told he's not funny. He became obsessed with the idea of writing a comedy series about a man with Tourette's and got to work. His commitment and writing abilities resulted in being given the opportunity to help write a theatre piece looking at the life of a teenager living with Tourette's and its misconceptions - most of them don't (uncontrollably) swear at pigeons in the street.
His growing passion for writing and raising awareness of the misconceptions of Tourette's through TV landed him a place on The Network 2023 and ITV Entertainment Writer's Initiative 2023. He's a confident and passionate writer but is also patient and extremely hard-working, and is looking forward to the day he can make his biography look a lot better.
