Caitlin is a queer, disabled, plus-size writer from Belfast. They got their start writing for theatre, and in 2021 they were selected to be a New Playwright with the Lyric Theatre in Belfast. They also won the inaugural Pentabus Young Writers Alumni Award.
Caitlin has written a number of pieces for Radio 4. A short rom-com set in an East Belfast chippy called "Orangefield" and a short story about a disgruntled drama teacher called "Her Voice". She is currently under commission to write a longer piece for Radio 4 that's due to be broadcast in early 2025.
Caitlin's next goal is to write for TV. She has a number of projects in development, and earlier in 2023, she was in the top 1% of applicants for the BBC Comedy Collective 2023, making it to the interview stage.
