To me to you: Chuckle Brothers visit Watford

Children's TV superstars The Chuckle Brothers thumbed the pages of the Watford Observer this afternoon as they took a well-earned break from filming. The famously anarchic pair are in town to film three new episodes for the forthcoming series of Chuckle Vision - which first aired in 1987. After a morning's filming in and around the Cassiobury Estate Paul and Barry gathered with around 20 cast and crew for lunch at the Fullerians Rugby Club.

To Me To You

Ricky Gervais, Russell Brand and Peter Kay maybe the country's top comedians but if you ask most children who's their favourite funny-men you'd probably hear the same response - The Chuckle Brothers. After more than twenty years on our screens the comedy legends that are Barry and Paul Chuckle continue to think up of wacky adventures or crazy ways to make a quick bob, to the comic delight of the under tens.

Bafta honour for Chuckle Brothers

Entertainers The Chuckle Brothers have been honoured with a special award at the Children's Baftas in London. The real-life brothers first hit the limelight in 1974, when they won talent show New Faces. Their Chucklevision show has been running for 21 years. After collecting their award from Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies, they described it as "a pat on the back from the business".

Chuckle Brothers keeping up the family tradition

In the fickle world of television, children's programmes come and go like buses. But ChuckleVision has proved to be one of the BBCs most enduring comedies. First broadcast in 1987, the show is still running after more than 140 episodes and feature the misadventures of ]Paul and Barry Chuckle - a pair of well-meaning brothers whose enthusiasm is matched only by their incompetence. Now, they are taking their talent on to the stage in the form of a tour called Raiders of the Lost Bark, which will be arriving at the North Wales Theatre in Llandudno on March 25.
