Goober

A rough and ready petty thief who occasionally lets his softer side out.

Goober is trying to keep his head down and get on with his work but is often a victim of circumstance, and fellow paybacker Shrimpy.

Shrimpy

Shrimpy can sometimes be quite seedy and will lead most conversations into lewd and crude areas, but beneath the crass and slightly odd exterior, there is a insecure, and somewhat damaged soul with a surprising tenderness and loyalty.

Ellie

Ellie is funny, attractive and a little bit naive. Not the criminal type, but has found herself on the scheme after an incident involving her ex, laxatives, toilet roll and deep heat spray.

Ms Bucktrout

Overseeing the Paybackers is psychotic supervisor Ms Bucktrout. To say she doesn't suffer fools would be an understatement; she doesn't suffer anyone, and gives Goober a tough time for no reason other than she can. She's completely fed up with her life and tired of her fairly thankless career.
