Comedy all about Gav, a middle aged, reasonably witty but occasionally boorish Newcastle taxi driver that has, after many a failed relationship due to probably his disdain of others, found himself living as a lodger with Matty who despite the robust and gregarious nature is also a bit of a couch potato failure and is a little shallow and of fairly limited intellect. Matty has a girlfriend (Monica) who is always at the flat who clashes with Gav due to her 'not paying rent'.
