The awards, now in their 18th year, recognise contributions to the festival. This year's event, which ran from 7th to 25th February, saw the highest ever ticket sales - with over 22,388 tickets sold directly from the festival's box office, equating to over a 10 percent increase in sales from 2023.

Festival and Programme Director, Charlotte Laidet, says: "Congratulations to all nominees and winners, we are so proud to have such amazing acts, venues, promoters and other participants in our festivals. Each year we have the pleasure to organise these awards, as an opportunity to thank everyone in the festival, and to celebrate the range and diversity of the comedy industry. We are also delighted to have our first lifetime contribution strongly linked with the UK Kids' Comedy Festival, which shows how quickly this sister festival is developing after only 6 years. Finally, it's been an honour to have Jenny Eclair accepting the Legend of Comedy Award, to recognise and highlight the career of this amazing woman on the comedy industry. We are already looking forward to next year, but in the meantime, please keep supporting live events, festivals, venues & artists as much as you can."
