Hi Guys,

I was watching the Crunchy Nut advert and realised that it was Stephen Mangan doing the voice over, but it made me wonder... where have the Barclaycard adverts gone?
I hope they haven't been cancelled!
Any ideas?

The only barclaycard adverts I remember are the Roan Atkinson spy ones that they turned into 'Johnny English'

DO you not remember the Rodeo and Speed boat adverts with JRT and SM in? They are on youtube if you want to watch them!

ah I love the one where Stephen pretends he can rodeo-and when theyre on the boat and he grins "your steering wheel came off"

apparently they cut the barclycard ones because the animal rights group complained about the rodeo advert because steve rode on the animal something stupid really.

How utterly pathetic.

How can they cancel all of the ads due to animal rights groups?

I see the speed boat ad is back.

Amazing - just as I was reading this there it was on Channel 4 during Timeteam (I have to admit I'm a bg fan - not very funny though).
