Does anyone know what happened to the idea of a prequel for only fools. Is it in the pipeline or shelved?

Where would they find a set of actors that looked so alike such iconic actors enough to pull it off?

As far as I'm aware, it's been unofficially shelved. That is, it's not being actively worked on, but hasn't been dismissed entirely or permanently.
