Mistaken Identity (1942)

For some reason I had a devil of a job tracing this on the IMDb as it said it had no record of it or the leading actor Richard "Old Ebeneezer" Goolden (A sort of cross between Arthur Askey and Robertson Hare). Eventually, I found it on the IMDb - Grrrr Angry via the BFI. WHY they had no listing of it initially is a mystery.

Anyway, this wasn't a mystery - it was supposed to be a comedy, but you'd be hard pushed to identify it as one.

Small time very amateur magician gets mistaken for a multi-millionaire theatrical angel - that's all I'm going to say on the matter.

Didn't know one person in it, and it was one of those I thought could/would get better as we went along, BUT just as it seemed to be going somewhere, up came "THE END". WTF?!?!

What a weird, seriously unfunny film it was.
