Like "King Gary" I don't think it lived up to expectations after the first hilarious episode

I've seen the three stage shows (The Play that Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and Comedy About a Bank Robbery) and also Noises Off, which is a similar premise.

There's only so many things that can go wrong and, like the TV series, I found they all got a bit "samey" in the end. The plays at least are longer and the things that go wrong are therefore spread out over a longer period rather than squeezing everything into a frenetic 30 minutes.
