Tracey Ullman

Surprised she hasn't already got her own thread.

Tickets are being released for her new sketch show. I've just got an email.

Looks like it's just screenings to add a laughter track like they do for Last of the Summer Wine.

I remember many years ago chancing upon the Tracey Ullman Show on TV and being stunned at the originality of the sketches.

It was like being transported to Oz and the whole world suddenly turning Technicolour.

I've never seen sketches like them before or since.

P.S. I know 'Technicolour' doesn't have a 'u' but the site won't let me spell it correctly.

I feel better now one of the experts cannot do it either. ;)

Anyway - technicolour / technicolour as maybe.

She was good in Three of a Kind and also made some great records for the Stiff label. Apparently she kept them afloat for a while.
