US comedy about misfit soldiers on a base in Florida. OK. Yada yada yada... It's a setup that you could only say is "formula". But the cast deliver it in a not so bad dead pan way and the dialogue is actually quite nicely written.

It therefore doesn't suck as much as I'd thought it would.

I didn't think there was anything formulaic about it.
I quite liked the premise and it was enjoyable enough.
Didn't deserve to have its plug pulled - especially not whilst still airing.

I couldn't stand the non-regulation haircuts and uniform violations. I guess old habits die hard.
