Father Dear Father (film)
Thought the film was lazy to be honest, like the Rising Damp movie it was a couple episodes from the tv series jumbled up into the film and wasn't unique in anyway, the writers could have done a better job with the film, very disappointed with it.
Without researching it, I'm pretty sure most of the sitcom movies did this to some extent. Dad's Army (1) on yesterday did some the other way round, reworking bits from the film into later episodes, which is much cleverer.

Always thought the Dad's Army film was made after the series ended. Knew never they made the film while still making new episodes of the series, thanks for that.,
